My 1st question is: What is the success of the Medifast Diet? Thanks for any comment. Another question... Weigh in day is Saturday... not usually a daily scale kind of person, but doesn't usually bother me to jump on the scale mid week just to see how I'm doing... UGH!!! First time it ever showed a huge gain.... 3 lbs!! Not thinking of going off plan, but was just mad as could be!!. |

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can help you..

I "officially" weigh in on monday mornings - for some reason I decided to get on this morning - bad idea..
But I am proud that I didn't throw up my hands and say " this just doesn't work for me" and go get that biscuit i'm craving. stayed on op all day - and hopefully monday i'll be rewarded with a successful weigh in .... if not, I have to remember I didn't gain these 100+ pounds in one week, and i'm not gonna lose it in one week.. The venting is awesome, carry on with it. it's nice to not feel alone... |

I do this all of the time... craziness! Why do we torture ourselves? Drink your water... and it will all work out in the wash over the next few days.....

My "weigh day" is Monday but I usually check mine on Wednesday or Thursday just to see where I am at. I weighed today and have not lost anything. Big bummer but I know this is going to happen from time to time. Hopefully I will see a decent drop by Monday..
As for your gain, I have read where some people see a gain one day and then are surprised to see a loss the next. I hope that is what happens for you! Good luck!.. |

That is definately something that ruins my efforts even though I know better. I don't like to weigh daily either...well of course if I am losing each time, I like it..lol.
I could start on Monday...weigh Thursday adn have lost 10 pounds..but if I step on that scale after that and don't have significant loss...it throws me off....come on bottom line it is still 10 pounds in a week. And trust me I know better...I could tell anyone of you...don't let that ruin it for you..that is "awesome" but then I let it rule me.. This is one of my goals this time around..stay off the scale as much as possible and if I do step on and dont' like it..then just move on...................:-).. |

Hi there. I'm feeling the same way today!!! I just completed week 3; First week lost 13 lbs; second week lost 3 lbs. This week - NONE!! And I don't know why!! I was sooo down this am, but wonderful people on Medifast have made me feel better......will keep plugging along...but very disappointed!..

Hey diddyham.....it is frustrating, but the best thing is to keep going. Can you imagine even losing 16 each month..it adds up so quickly.....that stupid scale just has it in for us. I wish you the best in week 4...hang in there and see if that scale doesn't treat you better next week. I am just finishing day 5 again....been years since I have started MF, I did awesome the first 2 1/2 months and then vacationed...didn't stay OP and have struggled for 3 years now to try to get back at it.....so keep plugging along as you say..it is so much better to keep OP the first time around. hugs and have a great week :-)..
