I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably know..

Hi,.
I can't yet wear all my rings yet but I can tell you that the wedding ring I wear now (not the original one I got married with) is too big, almost in danger of falling off. And my watch is way loose. And my shoes are looser. I have some with a velcro strap that I fasten way tighter than I used to before I started this program.. So my opinionhang in there. Those rings will fit again. Keep that goal of wearing them as they are and don't resize them. You can do this.. Have a great Medifast week. Hump day is essentially done now and we're moving on Friday-eve... |

I lost about 50 lbs. over twenty years ago and had my rings resized as they were way too big. Then I gained all that weight back plus another 50 and had the rings resized again because I could not get them on. So I think you will notice a difference and be happy. I would wait until you are done with T and into M and see how your hands settled down. I also noticed a difference in shoes as someone else pointed out...

Thanks everyone! Now I know that this is just another goal for me... I am even more triggered to lose the weight and stay OP. Thanks everyone!..

Yea - my rings are all too big. I was actually using dental floss twisted and tied around the bands to make them fit, but now the adjustment is so I need those plastic ring sizers. I won't adjust my rings until I'm in maintenance.... so yep - I have no doubt you will fit those rings again..

That's a great idea (making it a goal)!.
I lost a bunch of weight on my own a few years back and had my wedding ring sized smaller. I almost never take it off, but gained the weight back (and then some). Now I CAN'T take it off!. So, my own goal is to lose weight so I am able to get mine off my finger again!!. Good luck!.. |

I have a lovely ring I used to wear when I was at 165lbs (about 16 years ago) and I'm really looking forward to being able to wear it again!..

What a great goal! They will fit you again. I had to have my wedding ring made larger a few years ago, which was humiliating for me. I'm down 13 lbs so far and it's sliding around a lot - in a couple of weeks I will need to get a ring guard. Eventually I'd like to resize it to the original size (so I guess I just realized this is a major goal for me as well!)..

I'm 4.8 lbs away from goal and just had my rings resized. They were falling off my hand and I didn't want to lose them...
Great goal and you will get there!.
I guess I talk with my hands. Two weeks into Medifast and 10 pounds down, I was talking to a friend when suddenly one of my rings shot across the room and under a table. Oops. Luckily, it was easy to make that ring smaller; it's my favorite!. JanM.. |
Yes, you will be able to wear those rings again....mine are all way too loose these days, but I am waiting for T&M to resize...
Your fingers will thin out too! I have noticed all of my rings are getting too loose now!..
Please be careful, I lost my wedding rings last year (they fell off) I work in a school and I am sure someone picked them. Needless to say they are gone forever so at the first sign of losing them put them somewhere safe until you can get them sized or buy the adjusters that slide on the backs...
