Got a question, hope someone can answer... Phase 2 on Medifast Diet to lose belly fat? Thanks in advance for any answer. Another question I got... Today I start my plan, 7/13/2010.

I start at 347lbs, and know this may take a long or short time, my body and my behavior will deictate how I do. My goal is 178lbs and my old size for which I even have pictures of me posted..

In 16 hours I will have my first white Medifast packet of love....

I have so many emotions in me right now, it's almost exhuasting, but I will make it..

Countless of you have stopped by my page and left me comments of encouragement, I can not tell you how good that makes me feel. As I have a lot of toxic people around me who have nothing kind or nice to say ever..

THANK YOU ALL....

I know with out your help my journey would be even harder, but I am greatful and glad you are all on my side!.

Hearts and Hugs.

Nice to meet you Chunky! I am also starting this week. My food should arrive on Thursday, so I plan to begin Friday (7/16). I read your blog and it looks like youve been doing the same prep work this week as I have. My friends loved the bags of groceries I gifted them from my cupboard clean..

I look forward to hearing how your first day went. I love my first white Medifast packet of love. I know youll do awesome!..

Hey Chunky,.

I started yesterday 7/13 and I thought I wasn't going to make it. I went to bed miserable. But in the morning and I was 5ilbs lighter than Monday. It is amazing how motivated you become after seeing results. Stick with it and your day will come..

Day 1 (I work nights to ignore items as I run a differnt schedual than the world).

5:30pm - Meal One - Chocolate App. Suppresion Shake (Had to keep the inner chocolate whore happy! Hell she might have revolted on me after 1 meal!!) Pretty Good.

6:40pm - So hungry the papers around me looked like edible sheets of goodness! ( Had 1/2 Stick Sugarfree Gum) Mind you by now normally I would have had 1500 cal over load from Mc'Devils (Mc'D's).

8:00pm - Meal Two - Apple & Cinn. Oatmeal, Ok was NO where near as bad as what people said I liked it, I added 1/10th a packet of Sweet & Low, n was even better! I like it and filling! (yea I am weird but I already loved the taste of soy and you can tell it's in there so I guess that Gives me a LEG UP!).

10:30pm - Meal Three - Strawberry Bar, hmm Lets just say I was like oh yea this little thing isn't going to fill me up. No way, NO how! So I drank 16oz water with it, ypu it did the trick!.

1:00am - Meal Four - L&G 6oz Chicken Breast Baked, 230 grams salad, 1/4 teaspoon Mrs. Dash, 1 Teaspon Balsamic Vinigar, 1 Teaspoon Olive Oil (Savored every moment took me 45 min to eat it, I slowed down and though about the texture and flavors while I was eating instead of inhaling it as I normally would my meals, do not care it got cold, it was good!).

3:30am - Meal Five - Chili Nacho Puffs... *The inner snack tramp is happy*... These were good kinda got the chili Cron chips from fritos flavor... GOOD but you need lots of water with them, they stick to your teeth and mouth, worse than peanut butter on dry crusty bread!.

6:00am - Meal Six - Lemon Merainge Bar - This was good and took a while to eat as it was still VERY frozen (I keep my bars in the freezer - very hot and humid where I am). The was good and had a very nice lemon taste!.

I drank well over 83oz H2O, and pee'd like there was no tomorrow..

I had 2 sticks of Sugarfree gum in total, and that 1/10th a packet of sweet&low, think I did ok for my first day.....

I can say I had very broken sleep when I finally got to bed, it seemed I was up ever 2 hrs peeing, but thats ok! (No Headaches thus far).

JUST STARTING DAY 2.

5:30pm - Meal One - Cranberry Mango Shake ( made in my ninja with shaved ice, OMG LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!) Definite Soy Background taste but it's the bomb!!.

OH AND A CONFESSION,.

I got on the scale before I went to bed the moring of my start (7am the 13th) The scale read 347lbs, I know it was only like 34 hours into this, but I got on the scale again, today same scale wearing same type scrubs no shoes ect, it said 341lbs!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!! **6**lbs in 36 hours, now I know it's probubly water weight but I do not care!! GOOD BYE WATER SEE YA, I do not care if I am up ever 2 hrs to pee, good bye weight!.

Keep it up Chucky....you can do this!.

I mix all my shakes with as much ice as I can fit into the mixer with the water and shake. It just makes me feel like I am having so much more..

And remember, it will get easier as time goes on and it's amazing how motivating that scale moving can be! Remember to take your measurements. When I have a slow weight loss week, I look at my measurements and see that I have lost there and gained muscle. Say good-bye fat!.

Best wishes!..

Hey Chunky, you are a gorgeous thing already...you will be getting even more gorgeous and more healthy. Sending you lots of hugs and Medifast love. Try soaking your oatmeal for a few hours or even overnight; makes a difference in the taste. Being a volume girl, I've found if I soak it I can add a little more water; when cooked it gives you a little more. Same if you try the chicken noodle/chicken rice soups. They definitely taste better after soaking and I can soak them with some extra water, too. Volume, c'est moi!..

I am just starting my 6th week and I can tell you it doesn't take long to get used to the program. I found bits of advice all over this site. The most helpful to me to date have been the following..

1. take it 10 pounds at a time. make sure you set mini goals, it helps not to focus on that number that seems so far away right now..

2. Remember all those foods you crave and drinks you want will be there 100 pounds from now..

3. This website will rescue you whenever you get weak or lose motivation. Somedays I feel like it's my life line..

Overall it's just hard not to stay on program when you get results so quickly..

Good luck I know you can do it!..

Chunky, Sounds like you had a great first day!! Good for you for hanging in there! I'm like you as far as the oatmeal, it doesn't bother me at all and I actually like it. I add a packet of Splenda and a splash of imitation butter flavoring to mine! LOL!..
