Got a quick question: I'm gaining weight on Medifast Diet phase 1...what the heck? Hoping for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I'm approaching the end of week 4 and happily packed away all my size 14's! Buh-bye!!! ALL my 12's fit, even suits that have gross dust lines from hanging in the closet so long. Do you know what I mean?. |

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably can answer it..

I can totally relate... I have absolutely NO clue what I will look like at 134 lbs.
But I am excited to find out!.. |

I still can't imagine it, and I've been at goal for almost a year. Every time I look in the mirror, or buy clothes, there's this moment of shock. I guess you don't get past 25 years of being obese overnight..
But here's the other thing - almost a year at goal and my body is still changing. Oh, it's not as dramatic as it was when I was losing weight, but it's noticeable. The bat wings are slowly disappearing, and the extra skin around my waist and thighs. Working out makes a big difference, of course, but time itself is a great healer despite all the awful things I did to myself for so many years... |

Wow, that is an amazing photo thingy. I thought I was looking pretty good, but now that I've seen myself at 125, I am feeling fat again, lol...

I have huge issues picturing myself at goal. I think the last time I weighed 185 pounds I was just 9 years old (granted I was 5'7" already too). So I've never been cognizant while being the weight I want to be. I fit into size 16s today and was so thrilled! I look in the mirror everyday and anymore I have a hard time picturing the way I *used* to look. Which is good, because that is a person I never want to see again...

I had a NSV tonight. I had to go to the safe to get my husband's passport. While down there I pulled out my old engagement ring - I will be married 40 years next week. It hasn[t fit me in probably 35 of those years. I took it out and put it on my finger!!!!! I could not believe it!..

Awesome NSV! I am all about the smaller sizes as a way of measuring progress. One day I will be a 12 too - this is motivating! For now, I am happy to take my size 16's. It does seem surreal considering I started at size 30. I haven't been size 16 since I was a teenager!..

Love these NSV's!!.
I am fitting into my skinny purple pants - which I bought last year when I was down (briefly) with WW - and then couldnt get them closed for most of the intervening time- wore them today, they were comfortable & looked great tucked into my boots -. And I walked away from yet another cake in the community kitchen at work -that's been my best defense as long as I can keep that up, I can get there. Had a twinge of longing for chocolate and then remembered I had brought a Dutch Chocolate shake for my last meal of the day... it was in the freezer (I'm finding if I blend in the morning, then put in the freezer, it takes them a while to thaw and I can nurse them longer)... so that is going to be my game plan for a while - chocolate shakes for the 4pm hour - much healthier than the M&M hunt I used to do.... And best of all, I feel happier in general - it's amazing what a few packets can do!.. |
