Got a quick question: How many weight watchers points does the Medifast Diet wraps have? Hoping for any answer or 2. Another question on my mind: So I have been on Medifast since December 4, 2010. I have not really had a "good" month to date. I lost 11 the first month and that was through the holidays and not be 100% OP! So I guess that is ok. Going on month 3 and am only down 23 pounds. I know, that's something, but I see so many other people on here and they loose that in a month!.

Not only do I feel like I am not really making the progress I had hoped, I don't really feel better. I still feel like the fat girl in the office. I look at myself and don't see any progress. My clothes are very slowly getting bigger on me but I don't FEEL it. I don't have any more energy. I am not sleeping better......

I have been under tremendous stress both at work and at home on top of my husband loosing his job (and I working 3). I have had to really work hard not to emotionally eat, which I am very good at. So when I talk myself down from the drive thru, I can't force myself to eat. I am sick with all the stress and the last thing I want to do is throw up $15 worth of food! So, I guess in that aspect I can't say that I have been 100% OP but shouldn't I be loosing instead of gaining when I am not able to eat?!.

Seriously?.

Why can't I just feel the success all the way around? Am I doing something wrong?! I set goals and now I am afraid that having set those goals is just another way to fail. I am so frustrated and upset with myself.....

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Try incorporating a little exercise in your routine 3-4 times a week. Endorphins are the bodys natural "Upper" drug. I'm always in a better mood after a great work out. Please don't be discouraged over your loss. 23 lbs in 3 months is great! Do you notice that even though you may not have been 100% OP that you still have lost weight, now imagine if you really started disciplining your self getting 100% back on plan.

Just a thought. Enjoy the rest of your week OP, and dont let the stressors take over, you take over them...

Hang in there, Mandy! Some of us are just slower losers than others, but every pound (or even ounce) lost brings us that much closer to goal. Not eating enough can be just as detrimental as eating too much, so make sure you are eating your 5 and 1. ((Hugs))..

WARNING....HONEST TALK....

Moot, if you want to "feel it" then work to stay OP 100%..

Even with your off plan activity you have been losing..

Again, if you want warp speed results (which, really- doesn't happen overnight) commit to following the Medifast plan as written..

Trust the process and avoid the stress of predicting the losing part...it will happen..

Most importantly, IMO, the most self defeating behavior is trying to compare your progress with any other human being..

One choice at a time, one day at a time leads you closer to the end result...

It sounds like you are looking at it negatively....sorry, I do that too, every time I look in the mirror. But really, you are ONLY noticing those people who lose at a higher rate. There are plenty like me who do not. I did the same thing but the more I look around, the more I see there are plenty just like me...and YOU. I started the day after Thanksgiving. It is now March and I am down ONLY 33 pounds.

I sweated the loss and speed of the loss but stuck to the plan 100% and even drove cross country over a weeks time and stayed on plan 100%. I gained weight! But, I am losing again. Just STICK TO IT! It will work!!!.

Save yourself the stress of the weight loss...You have more than enough stress...and TRUST that it will work. Every time you start feeling negative about the losses...tell yourself to not worry, it will work...

There are too many people here who have succeeded and reached goal with Medifast to question it. I don't believe there is any one of us that are so specially designed that we can NOT lose as well. The rate of loss may be different but unless you have a major illness, you will also lose...

I agree with the above posters, you cannot compare yourself you any other person in the world. You are unique, you look differently talk differently think differently than any other person in the world. So it would make sense that you lose weight differently. Stress is hitting hard in my life right now too and emotional eating is something I am guilty of. It is so odd though because this time I am not letting myself eat when I get angry, frustrated, sad, or bored. Looking back on that fact I see that I feel more in control.

So when the day has just been total crap (excuse the language) I can say, well I ate right, did a good thing for my body and probably lost a little weight in the process. Instead of eating whatever, feeling awful physically and mentally for it, and throwing my health and weight at the top of the steaming pile of stuff I have to worry about..

We are all here to support you! You can do this! Keep your head up, you are an amazingly strong individual...

So sorry for all the stress in your life right now!! Of course you're not sleeping better!! Who could, with the stress of supporting the family and working 3 jobs?? I think you've done amazingly well, considering all that you're going through. You need to really acknowledge yourself for avoiding the drive-through - that's a major accomplishment and you can be proud every single time you win that battle!! As for still feeling fat...I would suggest that you try to create a new conversation in your head about that! Maybe say to yourself that every Medifast meal is a step in the right direction, and every day you're getting healthier! Sometimes the healthy changes are taking place on the inside, our blood pressure gets better, our blood sugar gets more stable, stuff like that. Then other times it's more visible, as our contours slim. Things ARE happening, sometimes it takes a few weeks or months to see them!!.

Stress can definitely stall your losses, but I think the biggest thing causing you to not lose is not eating the 5+1. You mentioned not eating because you're afraid of throwing up all the expensive Medifast food. I can certainly understand that feeling, but you need to find a way to work it out!! If it were me I'd experiment with different Medifast foods until you find the ones that cause you the least stress. Maybe hot cocoa or chicken soup would seem more soothing that a bar, for example..

When you skimp on the food the body goes into survival (starvation) mode and holds onto every little thing. You need to nourish yourself with all 5 Medifast meals and the L&G meal. Also, going too long w/out a meal will stall you, too..

So you asked, am I doing something wrong? Well, yes, if you're not sticking to the plan 100%, you're not getting the very most out of it that you can. Just take it one day at a time! One day, 100%. Then do it again!! And again!!.

With all your stress you need to take better care of yourself than even before!! I wish you all the best, and I hope things improve for you soon!!..
