Today my weight is 270 pounds. Over the last two weeks I lost 3 pounds, I guess that I'll be shooting for 6 pounds (hoping for 8) loss for this month...

With you running the show, I'm in for February. This morning (Sunday the 1st) I weighed 177, which was exactly what I weighed January 1st. The end of February, however, will be different. My goal is 174 for February28th, a negative 3 lbs. I would do more, but February is a short month, plus I failed miserably trying to lose 7 lbs last month.. February 1: 177. Goal for Feb: 174. I was too much of a chicken coward to get in last month as it was my first month, had no idea of what I was capable of or what to expect. Based on that I am going to go for a pretty high goal as these boards keep me motivated..

February 1: 205.
Goal for Feb: 200. To lose: -5 lbs. To lose -5 a month is my average if you look at my ticker. This is more realistic than my -8 goal set for Jan. I was actually figuring that after two months of cheating (since Thanksgiving) my loss would be greater when I got serious in Jan.. Here's my strategy for the Feb (and ultimate goal -50). If I can maintain and even exceed my monthly goal of -5 then I make -50 goal by Memorial Day weekend. Perhaps you guys think I should lose the weight faster, but I have embraced Nutrisystem as a lifestyle and my strategy is slow-but sure.. Hey Damon, the Nutrisystem Flatbread has stopped me from ordering a pizza out. So, nice save!.. |

I had a dinner dance with open bar and hand delivered treats on Saturday night - even with a good Sunday I ended up at 203 on Monday. My goal for February is to get back down to 198. With my birthday coming on Saturday and company in town - I'm starting off with a real challenge!..

Don't do it, you are doing great. I bet you did not complain as much when 4 pounds went on in 14 days. Want to shake that plateau, just drink double the water for a week and push yourself a bit harder on exercise. Also just because you are not losing does not mean you are not shrinking..
God luck, you may not reach goal but you went in the direction toward it and not away from it, that alone is an accomplishment... |

I know that luck has nothing to do with it. I had no weight loss this past week, at least I didn't gain any weight. I had difficulty staying focused on the plan. Although I ate my Nutrisystem foods, I went overboard with other food items..
I notice that this is a repeating pattern with me with my weight loss efforts. Regardless which plan I try, I do well for the first month or so, then my ability to stay with things gets lost. Hopefully I'll be able to regroup. Perhaps this week will provide me with a push to stay focused for this coming week... |

One thing that I tried that helps me stay on plan is splitting up my meals into 1 hour or 1 1/2 hour increments till dinner time. Seems like I'm eating all day long between 7:30 breakfast and 2:30 afternoon snack and now I don't crave anything extra.. And of course added more water so that I'm up to 16 or 17 glasses a day.. Good luck finding what works for you... |

I went up a pound since last weigh in and finally hit the 177.0 mark this morning (technically only a .4 pound loss this week, but a total 40 pound loss since starting Nutrisystem in Oct.)..

Hell yeah.. I am loving Nutrisystem and at this point - Over a month in - I am not turning back. I am sticking with it. I am sure in the future I will have slip ups - but I will power through. Don't know about you but it's time this time. I am tired of carrying an extra person or two around with me...

I've also got an idea for March. How about a 3.2% challenge? No matter what your weight, you weigh yourself on Sunday and the spreadsheet tells you what 3.2% of that is, and that's your goal. Sound like a plan?.. |
