My question is Healthy Nutrisystem diet Plans For Seniors? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another question I got... Yes, I posted this on the 20 Somethings Forum also, but I know most of us don't spend much time in Estro Land. So I thought I'd hit up the guys for their thoughts and maybe others are in the same boat as me so they can get some ideas....

I need some suggestions. I decided to delay my next shipment because I am swimming in lunches and dinners; however, I am almost out of breakfast and snakcs/dessert items. So I need to find some substitutes..

I was thinking of oatmeal and low-fat granola for the breakfast items. The key there will be portion control. For the snacks/desserts I was thinking of picking up some of those 100 calorie packs of crackers and cookies..

Are those valid substitutes? Anyone have any other suggestions?..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could help you..

I was in the same situation - there's just not a lot of healthy breakfast options in restaurants!.

I decided on Smart Start cereal & Quaker Oats..

Slice 1/2 a banana, add 20 grams of Quaker Oats and 50 grams Smart Start cereal, and cover the whole mess with 6oz yogurt. Stir until blended, then eat..

Not 100% on plan but I like a "1-bowl" breakfast that I can eat fast without getting any on my tie. In season I was using berries for the fruit and occasionally swap out the cereal with Total, but you get the idea..

I have also picked up the "Grape Nut" cereal.

And do the same thing Wes..

I mix the Grape Nuts into my yogurt..

The numbers on the Grape Nuts are:.

1/2 cup serving.

170 cal.

1 g fat.

210mg sodium.

190mg potassium.

38g carbs.

5g Dietary fiber.

3g sugar.

6g protein.

I also eat it with just milk and add 1 splenda and it is good...

The key to substitutions is making sure you select items that match Nutrisystem calories, contain minimal fats, and have higher protein. I eat Kashi cereal and South Beach bars almost every day. I really enjoy their products. Good luck with your search...

I've been eating a lot of pu**y lately. Not sure it's helping me lose weight but I did get a very nice watch as a gift last week. Not sure it's a mere coincidence...

How do you put that on your food log? Is that a plus or minus in calories?..
