First question I have is Does this Nutrisystem diet sound ok? Many thanks for any response. Another question... I just got off the phone with Nutrisystem and I am very unhappy. Just when I'm on a weight loss roll, Nutrisystem is dragging it's heels filling my order. They had no problem deducting the money from my acct for this order back on Dec. 30.

in 3 hours and pack my own BBB if that will help.

He said it doesn't even have a tracking number attached yet. "Call back tomorrow". Give me am flippin' break. Well, it looks like I'm gonna be off plan whether I like it or not. Thanks for letting me vent...

The answer is Yes, although you might want to make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm it as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Nutrisystem guys because they can answer your Nutrisystem question better...

I've noticed that with the companies that I deal with here at work. It seems that everyone just shut completely down for two weeks over the holidays! We can't seem to get anything done because of it and it's affecting my bottom line..

I think a lot of it is becuase everyone has cut back on labor so dramatically that no one can get anything done. The economic decline will continue to be a self fufilling prophecy because of it...

Ha Ha. I just got an e-mail with my tracking number telling me that my order has shipped. LOL You never know who's watching these boards, huh?.

Oh and Larry, I think about you every time I see another dealership in my area close. I owned 2 Acuras back in the 90's ('94 Integra and a very nice all the works '96 Integra). I bought the '96 off the internet. Drove all the way to Alcoa, TN to take delivery. The owner was the parts manager at the Alcoa TN dealership. It only had 6000 miles on it and I got it real cheap.

Unfortunately my ex took it. It was the best ride I ever had. The car wasn't bad either...

This is the case in a Large number of companies. Along with 4 day work weeks. Not to mention, Christmas bonuses have been on the decline..

Along with New Years Resolution pushes, I'm sure Nutrisystem is swamped. This is one of the reasons I wanted to get started before the 1st of the year..

That being said...if they take your money, give me the product..

You are probably right about this...AND if you are, thats a real problem...people who have been on the program and spent thousands of dollars SHOULD come first....THEN, newcomers..

1st rule of business...take care of EXISTING CUSTOMERS BEFORE you try and take new ones..

They are your bread and butter! WAIT....neither of those are "on plan".

I hope you get your shipment real soon Damon...

Approx..$4134.82. IT lost the first 6 months of 2008, so I added it up since 6/16 and doubled it. Wow, that's $43.07 per pound lost. Also that means that those last 73 lbs to lose will cost $3144.19. I wish I could just write a check and it would be gone. lol..

Vent away! That's why we are here....for support!.

NS should be throwing in a free week of a la carte food for you to make up for the inconvenience! Or, if you figure that Nutrisystem costs about $12/day, they should credit you that much each day the order is late..

I just got off the phone with "customer service" re: food exchanges and I have to say, it was a nightmare. Odd, because the last couple of times I have talked with them, they have been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful...

With New Years resolutions I'm sure they're swamped. I have to say though that after the miracle I've experienced - I'm willing to cut them some slack. This program is very complete and they keep trying to make it better. We all get anoyed when things don't go smoothly - but if I had stuck to the program completely - I'd be at goal already.

It's a great adventure I'm glad there is a Nutrisystem and that you're all here to share the ride - even through the bumpy spots!..

I am supposed to get my food in two days, my first shipment. I wanted to be in a forum with other men so I could relate. I am 195 pounds at 5'7", I am 41 (almost 42) years old. My Dad died when he was 45 of a heart attack..

I guess right now what I want to know is, is it going to work? I am going to stick with the program no matter how hard, but I will take any advice I can get..

Thanks guys, this is not going to be easy, cause I eat when I'm happy, sad, mad, or anytime in between cause I am always hungry..

YES, it works! Before Nutrisystem I ate like they were gonna run out. After about the 3rd day you will notice your hunger getting easier to deny. I'll even wager that within the first month sometimes you will say "Do I have to eat everything?"..

Eat all your food when you are suppose to, and add-in dairy, veggies, salad and fruit and you will not get hungry. You will be amazed..

Oh yea, Drink a gallon of water a day..

Damon, my order was messed up last month, too. Look at my chart. I can't blame it all on the order delay, but it didn't help. Customer service was good overall and they did end up sending me a month for free..

I couldn't do their job and wouldn't want it. If anyone deserves a year end bonus it is a company's customer service staff ... at least the good ones...

I had problems, too. I'm getting it every two weeks. This time, it was supposed to ship on the 25th. Well, duh, it's not going to ship on Christmas Day. I knew that. But December 30? And because of New Year's, it may have (may have, I haven't gotten home to check yet) been delivered today.

Anyway, I went online to Craigslist, Damon, and got some food from someone selling it. I paid $40 for about 70 items (mostly Nourish). I threw away about 7 pieces that had expired, and am using that to get me through until the shipment. Tomorrow is my last lunch, though. Cheesy Homestyle Potatoes from the 168th day of 2007! Well, at least it was late in the day, 10:04 PM..

What is that? June 17! So we're close to 19 months on this. It still shakes like a powder. It doesn't have the Omegasol. Everything else I've eaten was all right. Except for the Chocolate Peanut Butter bar. Once I knew how to decode the number, I found out it was from 2005! Gah!.

I just delayed my next shipment since I haven't laid my hands on the last one! I may stop it altogether once I know all the details on the Costco deal. If I can buy three boxes of 35 meals from them and then use the codes to ship them whenever I need them, then I'm golden. I only have 32 more pounds to lose. Surely with the spare Nourish and the two week package coming and then 105 meals more, I can lose 35 pounds!..

Why because I figure if I stop the payments, I'll die!..

I know I'm gonna catch some flack for this, but I went to Subway yesterday and got two $5 dollar foot longs. Oven roasted chicken breast on 9-grain wheat, with no cheese, just lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. I separated them to four 6" and ate one every 3 hours. Here is a snip from.

I think it's possible to find so healthy things out there and swap them in sometimes. I mean, heck...I don't think that I'm going to just eat Nutrisystem food for the rest of my life. I consider Nutrisystem sort of my training wheels until I figure out how to do it on my own. So, I don't think eating at Subway was anything horrible...(If you paid attention to portions, etc.).

I may get shelled for this too:.

There's a place out here in So Cal called "Flame Broiler"..

There happens to be one next door to my gym and one close to my office. They make a 450 cal chicken & rice bowl. I've been swapping them in for Nutrisystem dinners on some of the nights that I go to the gym and for an occasional lunch when I need to get out of the office to clear my head..

I accept that it may have slowed my weightloss a little...but, I'm actually okay with that so far as long as the numbers keep heading in the right direction. So far the trend has held that it's okay to swap a few healthy meals in and was only really messed up by a little off plan holiday grazing/eating that stalled me into gaining and losing the same 2-3 pounds for a couple weeks..

I've promised myself that if the numbers level off too much and I feel a difference or that the losing stops...then, I'll go back to 100% NS. Right now I guess it's sort of a version of "maintainance lite" that I'm doing by eating Nutrisystem 80%-90% of the time.....

Yeah, I'm happy to have "survived" my first healthy holiday season with no real lasting damage to my losses that I can see..

And, yet I don't feel lthat I had to skip 100% of the stuff I really wanted to try. The biggest difference I can see is that I tracked it, logged it and paid attention to everything...even the off plan stuff when I decided to splurge on something..

In that sense, it is a lifestyle change not a diet as so many others here always say. I'm much more aware and in control of what I eat than I have ever been in my life..

As of last night I'm back within 2 pounds of my lowest weight from a few weeks ago and heading down once again...

I met Jared about a year after he started doing the commercials. I asked him about the diet and wouldn't it have left him very hungry and very bored of subs..

His answer was that except for the 60 minutes or so after each meal he was STARVED throughout the diet. He was miserable much of the time, constantly thinking about food, but he was convinced that if he didn't do it he was dead and therefore saw it as life and death to power through. As for being sick of subs, he told me to watch the Subway ads and I'd discover that you would never seem him chew a sub in any of them and that he had sworn off subs (I understand that did change later...)..

I just got off the phone with Nutrisystem customer service and ain't happy!.

The food is stacked high in my house. I have no room in the pantry any more. So, I went online, put in a 2 week delay. Naturally, a couple of days later, I get an email notice that the shipment was sent out!.

Alright. I can deal with it. But I go online and my next shipment still says it's going out in 2 weeks. It looks like I'm going to get 2 orders in 2 weeks! Alright, time to get on the horn. I moan and groan and eventually just tell customer service to move my next shipment date out a month to February. She says she did it but it still says the next shipment is going out next week.

Aaaaggghhhhh!!!..

You can only delay your auto-delivery twice on-line. After that you have to call or use the live chat with a counselor thingie, which is my only real choice left seeing as how I'm deaf and all. Gawd, I hate trying to do stuff like that on the tele-coil..

Next, I'm pretty satisfied, I guess. I got my BBB yesterday morning, so that's day 1 at 100%. Plus they threw in an extra week. All's well that ends well. Ifeder, I hope they get you right...

That includes delaying orders, having damaged goods replaced, and getting bears..

After several years of being off of NS, I saw the "Brothers" ad on TV. That ad stated there would be three free weeks. On Jan 2, I decided to sign up on line. When I took a look at my order I noticed that they gave me only two weeks. I called up cust. service, and I was given a third week.

As I said, I placed my order on Friday, Jan 2. I received my order on Wed Jan 5, and it arrived via FedEx overnight. I'm sure that I received this order quickly because I'm a new member. I don't think that I can expect to receive my orders via FedEx overnight all the time...
