You betcha! but you might want to make sure and wait for another person to confirm it as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Nutrisystem guys because they can give you help better...

My female neighbor is diabetic (two shots a day) and uses the womens regular program. The only issue shes had is the nutri chocolates (she loves them), and her Dr just told her to split the pack in half and eat some in AM and some PM. Otherwise her numbers are great. She said the program has regulated her levels (best in her life) and is wonderful two fold: 1. regulates her sugar, 2. reduces her weight.
I'm far from an expert, just know what she said. Also she refused to get diabetic program as it limits her choices. Claims the regulated, normal program does just fine for her.. Edited note: she's 72 years old/young... |

Being a Type II diabetic my first BBB order was exactly to Nutrisystem Men's Diabetic Program. Now I use the diabetic meal planner but order from all the foods on Nutrisystem lists and simply use the planner for food groups selections. eg. Breakfast on the Men's Diabetic meal planner is Nutrisystem Breakfast Entree, Dairy/Protein, Carb. The "regular" menu is a Fruit instead of a Carb..
As Daoneth states, the Diabetic plan limits choice... |

I was on the diabetic plan for the end of my autoshipments, but honestly - he should see a nutritionist, with a referral from his Dr., who would give him a daily dietary intake..
Like mine gave me a diet plan of 1900 calories, which was comprised of X carb servings, X protein servings, X fat servings and so forth. The Nutrisystem diabetic plan more or less fit right in with some modifications... |
