My first question is Does anyone know anything about the Medifast Diet? Thanks for any comment. My 2nd question... So, last Sunday (exactly a week ago) - I took my soup to work in a Thermos. I always have problems getting the lid off, and that day was no exception. A few other people tried, but no dice.. |

The answer is Yes, but you might wanna make sure and wait for another member here to confirm this as I am not confident. Better yet, why don't you e-mail the Medifast guys because they can answer you better...

That is funny!! I do take my soup to work in something similar - it's an Aladdin soup carrier..
NOTED!!. Hope you feel better soon, Sarah... |
Hilarious! I'll make a note of that, super sealed thermos=soup explosion over time! Thanks for sharing...
Thanks for the LOL! Now that's "unique" to say the least!.
Feel better soon, Sarah!.. |
Too funny! And gross!.
I do use a Thermos, but, fortunately, do not have trouble getting the lid off. If I do, however, I will now know how to proceed..... |
It's no wonder we all have gas if Medifast soup can do that to a thermos..
Hahahahaha.. |
You really need to share that with the Department of Defense. This could be the best secret weapon ever used. The world's most horrific smell and, the enemy would never know when it might blow...
So, THAT's the reason why I can clear a room when I have gas! LOL!!!!!..

I've had the same experience with diet coke in the freezer. I like my diet cokes very very cold, almost slushy. I've forgotten them a time or two, though, and have had them explode, sounding exactly like a gunshot, at 2 in the morning! Makes a big mess in the freezer, too. At least it doesn't smell like Medi-BARF (love that word, am SO going to steal it, lol)...
Note to self: get thermos that doesn't lock Medifast contents within for more than a day.
LOL. Did the soup hit the ceiling? Eeek... |
Once, my ex husband left a can of Coke in the freezer and stuck it in the waaaaaay back to get it "nice and cold". And then he forgot about it. It exploded while we were gone one day so we never heard it, but you can imagine my surprise whenever absolutely everything inside of the freezer had Coke slushie all over it. And it kind of seeped into the meats inside of the freezer, too :P..

ROTFLMAO!!!!! The famous exploding soup!!!!! Oh too, too funny. Ok, kind of disgusting, but very funny. I would NOT want to have to clean up after.
That. Mess! Yuck. But thanks for the warning!!!!. Melissa.. |
Now if that's not Medi-farts I don't know what is!!! LOL I can almost smell it from here.....
I used to say that about my son's diapers. He would have these tiny ones and let me tell you- he could clear a house. I never knew anyone so cute could stink SO BAD!..
MMMM.... soup sitting out at room temp. for a week. I'm sure that smelled extra nasty...
LMAO...I've had trouble getting the lid off but never locked out totally. How amazing that it exploded! I'm sorry for your mess, but thanks much for the laugh..
The smell and clean up surely may have been nasty but I'm thankful it didn't explode when someone was near it. Might have been a lethal hit when it exploded at a body..
I'm glad you're fine, lesson learned for sure!.. |
Gosh - I didn't even think of that! I think it wouldve given me a heart attack - even if it didn't hit me- just from the sound!..
It's not just Medifast soup. I've seen it happen with pancakes. The regular aunt jemima ones where you mix water with the powder already in the container. Leave that on the picnic table for awhile and it will explode all over the side of the camper...
